How do I get to festival?

The festival is located on at Dreamland, Margate.

Dreamland’s entrance is on Marine Terrace, Margate, CT9 1XJ; the entrance to the Amusement Park is just to the side of the cinema on Hall By The Sea Road.

The closest rail station is Margate which is a 10 minute walk to the venue.

Is there parking available?

Parking is available in the nearby Arlington Car Park for only £7 per day, and can be booked in advance here.


When will my favourite Funk & Soul acts be on at the festival?

We will split the days with each lineup as we get closer to the festival date.

What time does the festival run?

The festival runs on all three days. Dreamland will be open from 12pm til late. The after-party venues will be open from 11pm til late.

I need to bring a personal assistant or carer. Can they get a ticket?

No problem! Just send us an email at info@funkandsoulweekender.com and we can sort this out for you.

What is the accessibility like at the venue?

Dreamland’s hard-flooring paths ensures this is suitable for wheelchairs.

Where can I buy tickets?

If buying your tickets online, all tickets are available through TicketWeb- That’s the link just up there on the right hand side of this page!

I haven’t received my tickets yet. How do I obtain entry?

Don’t panic! If you haven’t received tickets and you think you should have, make sure you’ve contacted your ticket seller before notifying us. All tickets will be exchanged for wristbands at the wristband exchange.

Can I upgrade my ticket?

Unfortunately, VIP tickets are no longer available.

Carer Tickets

If you are a disabled person and will need to bring a carer to the event, carer tickets are available via the dreamland website here.

Proof of eligibility will need to be supplied on entry at the event alongside your ticket.


Can children come to the Funk and Soul Weekender?

No. The festival and its venues are all 18+.

I can’t wait for the festival – what can I get up to in the meantime?

As always, our launch party series will continue this year at locations across the country. These parties are hosted in collaboration with the best Funk, Soul & Disco party-starters in the UK, featuring festival favourites and our most exciting partners.

I can’t come to the festival any more. What do I do? Can I get a refund?

We’ll be sorry to see you go! All ticket sales are non-refundable but Funk & Soul Weekender is so popular you can attempt resale or exchange your ticket with a friend.

What else will I be able to get up to during the festival in addition to all the music?

In a nutshell – loads! Dreamland offers a wide range of vintage rides and guest what ? They’ll be all free for the weekend! You’ll also find street food, art & even a roller Disco!

Is there food and drink available?

On the festival site, there will be plenty of food & drink facilities to satisfy your cravings in between acts, including soul foods and craft beer bars.
